AMD Ryzen 5000 Release Date, And Other Important Details

Recently AMD announces its latest upcoming Ryzen 5000 series of desktop processors and it is based on Zen 3 architecture looking for”AMD Ryzen 5000 release date” then here we are discussing everything about AMD Ryzen 5000 series.

A few years back AMD launched their roadmap about Zen architecture which covered their Zen 2 and Zen 3 lineups. They said our new processors will be aimed at high-performance computing power and it will be set a new benchmark in upcoming years. After that, they launched their Zen 2 architecture which operates on 7nm technology.

Now in 2020 they officially announced about amd ryzen 5000 series powered by Zen 3 architecture which based on 7nm+ technology it will soon available. A few days back AMD’s new Navi 21 GPU line-up leaked in a series of tweets, and the details were mouth-watering and another tweet also came.

The Twitter client, ExecutableFix has released some restrictive insights about the upcoming Ryzen APU line-up which will incorporate Zen 3 based Cezanne and Zen 2 based Lucienne APUs. The two new APUs will fall under the Ryzen 5000 arrangement family.

As indicated by sources, the AMDs Ryzen 5000 “Cezanne Zen 3” line-up will incorporate the Ryzen 7 5800U and Ryzen 5 5600U APUs. The Ryzen 7 5800U will come with 8 cores and 16 threads, though the Ryzen 5 5600U will just component 6 cores and 12 threads.

Coming to the AMD Ryzen 5000 “Lucienne Zen 2” line-up. The SKUs will feature the Ryzen 7 5700U and Ryzen 5 5500U APUs. The Ryzen 5 5500U will also come with 6 cores and 12 threads and the Ryzen 7 5700U will come with 8 cores and 16 threads, same as their other counterparts.

The performance difference can see on both line-up because both come with different counterparts in zen 2 and zen 3 architecture respectively, prices also different because zen 3 based architecture processor have slightly on the expensive side, while zen 2 architecture already in the production so it is cheaper than zen 3 architecture.

The huge 19% IPC (Instruction Per Cycle) improvement along with the improved cache and latency design would cover up the price difference but for those looking to get something more mainstream and budget-friendly, the Lucienne Zen 2 APUs will cover that segment.

Many of us thinking about gaming performance because we have seen on every other AMD chip it has lessor single-threaded performance than intel because in intel we can see the faster single-thread performance but soon things will change because the latest chips of AMD come with faster single-thread performance yet and it definitely great for gamers. So it would feel the gap between Intel and AMD.

AMD Ryzen 5000 series Release Date:

7nm Ryzen 9 5950X Flagship With Up To 16 Cores, 32 Threads, 4.9 GHz Boost Clocks, Launch on November 5th.  So all AMD Ryzen 5000 series line-up desktop CPUs launch on 5th November 2020 and maybe selling on e-commerce that same day. According to the official’s sources, the company sends its CPU to the first retailer and testing is going on. The good news is most of CPU support older versions of motherboards.

AMD Ryzen 5000 series APU packed for Gamers:

The APUs of the AMD Ryzen 5000 lineup already stacked images and it coming soon, it includes AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, Ryzen 9 5900X, Ryzen 7 5800X, and Ryzen 5600X, and all are powered by zen 3 architecture images posted on tweeter by HXL (@9550Pro).

All 4 CPU has been sitting in the tray it may be for the first retailer samples sent to an OEM or board partner for integration/testing on their new platforms.

AMD Ryzen 7 5000U Series APUs:

The high-end CPU from AMD is Ryzen 7 5000U and it’s powered by zen 3 based architecture and also available in zen 2 based architecture. The Ryzen 7 5800U features provided 8 cores, 16 threads, and 16 MB of L3 cache with clock speeds set at 2.0 GHz base and 4.4 GHz boost frequencies along with an 8 CU (512 SP) Vega iGPU that’s clocked at 2000 MHz.

Alos Ryzen 7 5700U comes with 8 cores, 16 threads, and 8 MB of L3 cache with base clock speeds set at 1.8 GHz and 4.4 GHz boost frequencies along with an 8 CU (512 SP) Vega iGPU that’s clocked at 1800 MHz.

AMD Ryzen 5 5000U Series APUs:

As Ryzen 7 comes with exclusive features The Ryzen 5 also has unique features it is powered by AMD Zen 3 architecture. According to sources, Cezanne APU comes with 6 cores (most probably the Ryzen 5 5600U) that will feature a base clock of 2.30 GHz and a base clock of 4.2 GHz. The chip will also feature an enhanced Vega 7 graphics chip with 7 compute units or 448 stream processors. It has a TDP of 10-25W.

The Ryzen 5 5500U comes with 6 cores and 12 threads based on the Zen 2 core architecture. It has base clock speeds of 2.10 GHz and 4.00 GHz boost speed and it has 8 MB of L3 cache which is lower than the 12 MB L3 cache featured on the Cezanne Ryzen 5 part. The iGPU includes a 7 CU (448 SP) Vega chip which is clocked at 1800 MHz.
