SNAPDRAGON 898 specs leaked -4nm and more

Some days ago while a press conference about the snapdragon 888 processor event accidentally Qualcomm snapdragon 898 features and specs leaked.

Recently there are many rumors and news about the Qualcomm processor 895 series lineup which is the successor of snapdragon 888. So the new powerful upcoming snapdragon 898 specs are leaked and it is named “Snapdragon 898”.

Powerful X2 super core :

The upcoming Snapdragon 898 will have the 4nm technology and it will have Cortex-X2 and its primary main clocked speed up to 3.09 GHz. In short, if we talking about the cortex-x2 it is a second generation of the powerful, high-performance ARM cores it claims 16-17 % of speed boost over previously build X1 and it running on the same frequency.

This is not the first that Qualcomm has a broken the record of the 3 GHz threshold nevertheless. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 plus also had Cortex-A77 which is clocked at up to 3.09 GHz frequency.

ARM claimed that the cortex-X2 cores will launch in this 2021 year and that has a major improvement of more than 16% as compare to the current Cortex X-1 core. This really futuristic design and snapdragon 898 supports  L3 cache up to 8MB.

In the meantime, MediaTek is reportedly making an attempt to compete with Qualcomm in the marketplace with its very own 4nm chipset that reduces the overall gap between MediaTek’s recent Dimensity flagship and Qualcomm’s top of the line Snapdragon 888.
